Five Acres Nursery Provision
Hello and welcome to Five Acres Primary School Nursery.
Our Nursery provides a happy and nurturing start to your child’s educational journey, helping them to feel secure, make friends, and grow in confidence through a range of exciting learning experiences.
Nursery Hours
We offer both 15-hour and 30-hour funded nursery places.
Term Time Nursery Session Options
- 15 hours – Monday to Friday 8.30 – 11.30am - Morning Session
- 15 hours – Monday to Friday 12.00 – 3.00pm - Afternoon Session
- 30 hours – Monday to Friday 8.30 – 3.00pm - All Day Session
Lunchtime Arrangements
Lunchtime takes place between 11:30am and 12:00pm. Children accessing the 30-hour funded entitlement and attending for a full day are not charged for this additional 30-minute period.
Children accessing a 30-hour funded place stay for the full day and should bring a healthy packed lunch and a drink to enjoy at lunchtime.
Please note that hot school meals are not available for nursery children. Hot meals from the school kitchen are available once children move into Reception.
Snacks and Drinks
Children do not need to bring snacks or drinks into nursery.
As part of the Government fruit, vegetable and milk schemes, all nursery children are provided with:
- A piece of fruit or vegetable
- A cup of milk
Fresh drinking water is available throughout the day.
Our Early Years setting is Healthy Smiles accredited, and we encourage parents to support healthy eating habits by avoiding sugary snacks and drinks.
Additional Sessions and Charges
Children receiving 15-hour funded places may be able to purchase additional sessions, subject to availability. Non funded additional sessions cost £18 per session.
